it says that it stores in cloud and how to access the backup file

Your question is not very clear but I will try to anyhow.
If you referring to the messages back up: Your messages on out phone are sync with the cloud.
If you delete a message on your phone it also gets deleted in the cloud.

The back up van apps and settings your also can not access. But if you have to setup your phone and use restore this information will be used to get your apps, game settings and star screen back as was before the restore.
