Why am I unable to pin a photo to the start page from favorites?

I can't pin a photo to the start page from favourites

Before I downloaded Cyan on my windows 8 Nokia phone, I was able to pin photos from favourites, camera roll or albums to the start page. Although I get into photos and swipe over to favourites, when I press more (...) I get Select, Pin to start, upload status and settings but when I press select it just says 'share' and select all. Pin to start is not there. Can you help please.

There's no pin to start for an individual photo. Only albums can be pinned.

Nope, if you have an individual photo marked as your favourite then that will get pinned however if you have several, the pinned tile will cycle through your favourites.

The easiest work around to pin a single image as a tile is to use an app like Skinery themes, or one the many custom tile editors.
