What is the unlock code for the Nokia Lumia 520?

All smartphones which are locked to carriers will need an unlock code if you wish to use it on another network... You can simply go to the incumbent provider and ask for your unlock code (there's usually a modest charge).

Some people might recommend a code off eBay, but personally I would stay away...

If your phone is locked for a ridiculous amount of time because of too many lock screen incorrect PIN number attempts...

Your only way to unlock it is to use a hard reset. Do a web search for "<phone model name> hard reset" and follow the instructions for doing a hard reset using the button push method.

Yes. We need to know if it needs a SIM unlock or if it is locked due to entering the wrong password too many times.
