How can you delete multiple text messages vs. deleting each one separately?

Just purchased my Nokia 635 and it's quite time consuming deleting each text individually and then having to confirm that "yes" I do want to delete the message.

Yes, just tap to the small empty space to the left of the text and a check box will pop up. After that you can check off how many texts you want delete at one time. This also works for stuff like browser history and emails

Or in messages, tap the three dots at the bottom, it'll say select, once done you can multiple select messages and delete

In addition, once you're in select mode, hit the ellipses at the bottom again to select all.
