Why does my phone randomly switch off?

Phone randomly switches off.

I got a L625 and it's started acting crazy recently. It randomly switches off and I cannot turn it on unless I hold the volume and power buttons at the same time. I think there's something wrong with the soft, as it also got noticeably slower. It has Lumia Cyan installed, is there anything I can do to prevent the reboots?

It could be SIM card related so test it with another SIM. But if that does not work I would suggest a "hard reset" or even better use the Lumia software recovery tool.
