Why won't my Lumia 720 charge even when I plug in the charger it says it is recharged?

my lumia 720 wont charge even when i plug with charger it says his in recharge but he dont .....

it's been for 2 weeks now sometimes he start charging like normal but then he stop i thought it's some lil problem but from yesterday he didnt want to recharge even when it's off now empty batterie keep vibraiting but wont start
if any knows if it's the batterie or somthing else

Could be your cable or charger head has gone bad... Switch them out if you can for a test.
