Why can't I download store apps while in pending on my Lumia 535?

I can install app from store it goes in pending but not download.

Cancel all pending downloads, reboot your device, lookup the apps you wanted to download again and start the download. Should work this time.

One thing I noticed in my Lumia 535, you cannot install apps from or into SD card. Better try changing your apps' location to phone from Settings

you are equal to god Bibaswann. you saved my phone from being thrown into dustbin. I thought windows phones have this problem and thought to buy an android. then my bro told me about this solution and it worked. :smile:

I use a microsoft lumia 535 dual sim. I can download pretty much every application from the app store except one. No matter how much I try, I can't download the app "Slack (beta)" in my phone. I've tried rebooting several times. So many times that I've lost count. Then I tried changing the app storage to SD card then rebooting & downloading again. But it still didn't work. I mean, the download process stops at the same place every single time!! It doesn't complete.
I really really need this application on my phone. Someone please give me a solution!!
