When I plug my Nokia Lumia 1320 into the mains to charge the phone turns itself back on.

Phone turns it self back on when plugged into the mains.

Yup, that's normal. Windows Phones do that. I think HTC once updated their firmware to make this optional, but all Lumias and afaik all other OEM's WPs do this on purpose.

I've just wasted about an hour of my time discovering that this "feature" is intentional. It might help users who are new to Nokia if this was explained in the set up guide, user manual, help pages etc etc.
