My computer is stuck on the update, what do I do?

My computer is stuck on the

I turned my computer on and it was doing an update and it failed so it brought me to this screen "we couldnt complete the updates undoing changed dont turn off your computer" i cant access the desktop or anything its just stuck on this screen and i dont know what to do

Give it a few hours. Sometimes a failed update can take hours to undo. That happened to me on Windows 7 before. It may take a while but the computer will eventually figure it out. I've done this on Vista several times and recovered.
