my lumia 1320 not getting a 4g

i had a nokia n-8 before and was getting a 4g connection normal but since i changed to the lumia 1320 i stopped getting the 4g i took it in to my network carrier and they told me all the settings on the network are correct and up to date can any one help me

The 1320 doesn't support LTE. HSPA+ (shown as H+ in the status bar) is the fastest you can get.

Oddly enough, I just looked up the Nokia N8 and it looks like it does not support 4G as we know it. (LTE, which is true 4G)

The 1320 doesnt support 4G LTE either. EDIT: woops! turns out it does!

However, in the US in particular, "4G" is the marketing name for H+/3G data speeds, which is still technically 3G, but faster and may be the 4G you're thinking of.

but regardless of the speed on your new 1320 or old N8, you cannot simply "make it faster."
You'll have to get a different phone that does support 4G in your region.

Contrary to given responses, the Lumia 1320 does in fact support true LTE 4g connectivity. However, the model sold in the US does not. Other variants, such as those sold in Latin American territories do.
