Maybe you made mistake during the whole process? Describe what you did for us and maybe someone can give you better directions

okay i downloaded the windows 10 tech preview and later when i tried to create a bootable disc using windows 7 usb/dvd tool...this appears ""The selected file is not a valid ISO file. Please select a valid ISO file and try again."

Guide: How to install Windows 10 from a USB drive

DONT USE USB TOOL ..do it manually above
That USB too is not good anymore on new builds.Need 5GB or higher USB

HASTAB to check SHA values

MagicDisk to mount ISO to copy files onto USB (Don't worry about warning)

Here's my ISO info which was verified against original source.....

Windows10_TechnicalPreview_x64_EN-US_9926
3.92 GB (4,214,226,944 bytes)

CRC32: 2DC37941
MD5: 8D0E461198854496502DC0293EA13D7A
SHA-1: 6A95316728299D95249A29FBEB9676DED23B8BEB
SHA-256: 740F67DE05B11F8E9E76DC986C722ACDF037A0E2187D7288C7423D5568CC964C

my file is 3.62gb instead of 3.92gb

Incorrect file size is an indicator of an incomplete download... But even if the file size is correct you need to verify a checksum before you proceed to use an ISO.

Delete the bad copy and download the appropriate Win 10 ISO again. There is no way you are going to magically make it valid.
