Why can't I tether?

does my phone cant connect nor tether wireless connections it keeps on saying that it keeps on saying that " is not currently available" what does that mean

It might mean your carrier does not support your phone sharing data with other devices... Check the Terms of Service you have with your carrier.

I think carrier's shouldn't be allowed to block this. The way I see it is that they give me 4 gigs of data, I should be able to use it anyway I want. If I only use 1 gig on my phone and 3 on my surface pro than why should they even care? If I need more data i'll buy it.

TetherX just shares your cell connection via proxy settings. Try it
