How do I get rid of a Dead Spot in my Photos App?

Hello All -

I have an unlocked Lumia 1520 that I'm using with Straight Talk. I recently deleted some pictures from my phone that were on my SD card. I replaced them with some others, but now when I go to view my pictures, there's a big spot there where the photos I deleted used to be. This wouldn't be a big deal, but I have the photo tile on my main page where it previews my pictures. More often than not, it's black because I think set on the dead spot where there's no photos. I was wondering if anyone knew how to get rid of this? Thanks for any help.

Try opening Storage Sense > SD Card and let it scan...

Another trick would be connect to the Windows Phone App for Desktop and let it index the contents of phone and card.
