Why does my screen orientation keep going to landscape?

Screen orientation keeps going to landscape

This drives me crazy. I have a Nokia Lumia Icon. Once a month or so, my screen goes into landscape orientation and the video stops working. A soft reset corrects the issue. Not a big deal to do, but why would I have to do this? I had the same issue with my last windows phone. I have the latest software upgrade. Makes no difference as the issue is always the same, no matter what upgrade I'm at.
