I am a L720 user. Apps stored on my phone are not showing since I switched on my phone. Only apps stored on my SD card are showing. My phone is running on Lumia Denim. Help.

Apps installed in the phone memory are not showing? Did you try a soft reset?
Edit: Or are you talking about XAPs stored on your phone memory?

If you can clarify, are you unable to run the apps installed on your phone, or you are unable to detect XAPs on your phone memory?
What I mean is, my phone is not detecting the applications that are stored on my phone memory. For eg. WhatsApp, along with many other apps, is missing.
Even my photo gallery and music and video apps are gone.

Well, if that is the case, you will have to hard reset your phone after backing up your personal data via a PC

If it happened after an update then probably it was a botched up installation. A hard reset will help. If it happened spontaneously, even then hard reset is the way forward, as soft resets are not working for you.

Other than that, if it happened after installing a particular app, then uninstall it and try a soft reset. Also, you can remove microSD card and soft reset the phone. See if any of these can help.
Just now a friend WhatsApped me and now WhatsApp is showing. But my windows phone store, gallery and everything are missing. Gosh!

but as your music,video and photo apps are also missing and they are integrated in the OS so you cant reinstall them via that method so your only solution is hard reset
This problem is partial solved in W10 if the app get missing from the app list you can now uninstall them from storage sense which is not possible in WP8.1
