I am getting repeat texts-how do I stop them?

when I receive a text message it will post 3 to 4 times, same message.

It may be SIM or carrier related... Try contacting your carrier for resolution...

Ive had this issue multiple times with Verizon when I or the person on the other end were in poor reception. Check if the issue occurs between two people in good to great reception.
