How do I silence the tune that I get when I'm checking my prepaid balance?

You could try turning off system alerts in settings (ringtones+sounds)

I tried turning off system alerts as well as every app -specific alerts from the notifications menu. No luck.

That tone is annoying to me too. I don't know if there's a way to turn it off. But in W10 technical preview that tone is changed.

Well I've tried every which way, but it won't turn off.. It is a system alert (in the sense that it is built in), but there's no way to turn it off.. Try putting this on uservoice
