Still getting text messages for some reason.

Since getting my 1520, I've had the 920 i was using plugged in just to keep it topped off. I noticed today that for whatever reason, the 920 still receives text messages despite its sim no longer being functional (i assume). The 1520 has a sim with the same number the 920 had.

It can't send texts, but it receives them. What gives???

This is bizarre - without a sim it shouldn't be connecting to any network to receive texts. To get rid of this behaviour I'd try a soft reset and see if that does it.

If you use the same MS account and switched on the SMS backup than that's the reason why you see them on your 920.
So you get them via the "cloud".

But be aware that sms backup works only one way. If you delete them on your 920 they also are deleted in the cloud and the 1520.
