My Lumia 1020 screen is perfect but lcd won't display, what do I need to replace?

Lumia 1020 screen is perfect but lcd won't display

Do I need to replace the screen and lcd, or just the lcd? Is it cheaper to replace just the lcd? Harder to do just one?

It might be that the internal flex cable is loose or else the LCD is gone in which case you need to replace the entire LCD assembly. Good luck.

I should add that I dropped the phone and half the screen had a great display but the other half was blue. Even the blue section still had a functioning touch display as I would guess where the submit button was, for example, and it would complete the task. The next day the blue part was larger and the day after that the entire screen was blue.

In that case I recommend a complete LCD replacement.

Is the glass with that company as good as the original glass or should I try to replace the LCD and keep the original glass? I've seen a number of complaints from other people who tried various companies and didn't have the same quality of glass with the replacement.
