Can Nokia 635 (Windows Smartphone) get a virus from my computer?

My computer, a 2010 Vaio, has one or several minor viruses. It runs slowly, but it runs. I'm worried that if I hook up my new Nokia 635 it will transfer viruses onto my phone. Can this happen? I've read older posts claiming that viruses are rare on Windows phones, but they only referred to downloading apps on the phone itself, not about any kind of virus transfer from PC to phone. Hi Cameron. No, your phone can't get PC viruses because they work with different architectures. And as of now, there are not viruses on Windows Phone.

It is possible to copy an infected file to your phone like you can copy a music file or word document to your phone, but it cannot affect your phone.

There are currently no viruses on Windows Phone due to a variety of factors. Of course that can change in the future, but current information says no for now and its going to need some breakthroughs.
