do either the Lumia 530 or 630 have an alarm which functions when the phone is off?

I want to turn my phone off at night, but still have the alarm wake me in the morning. Do either of the Nokia Lumia 530 or 630 do this?

I don't think any Windows Phone does this.

Actually, I'm not aware of a modern smartphone with that feature... Although since it isn't exactly something to be advertised, I could be wrong.

You can turn on airplane mode

Say impossible by new generation smartphones feature phones by Nokia always supported this feature. Most probably the asker is switching from one of such phones?

YES, kinda miss that feature, myself - though it almost got me in trouble (Nokia N8 switched itself on during jury duty - a preset alarm!)

I only ever played with the Symbian I have: a Nokia E5-00. It wasn't my daily driver very long so I forgot that I had to erase all my alarms after I was done previewing it as it rang when turned off...

But now I'm having flashbacks. :winktongue:
