How is it? I was thinking of getting one for my mum for her b'day, though no doubt it'll probably be only used for Sudoku!

It's pretty good for the specs. I'm always on it, battery life isn't that bad. Get about a day maybe a little more on heavy web usage. Not sure how long for video yet, or how much quality it can withstand..

Just picked up a LINX 8 for hardly any money at all...I am more than surprised at how fast and the complete capability of this device, it serously just handles anything you throw at it, not had any slow down, tried Asphalt 8, Dungeon Hunter 5 and they run smooth as my Ipad air, im amazed at how it is a mini copy of my desktop and runs so fast, how I dont understand, 1GB ram doesn't seem to effect it at all, just cant work it out, the screen could be a little higher dpi, but its pretty good generally. this has to be the most underrated bit of kit ive come across.
