I am getting a notification to install a critical update in my Lumia 620, how do I proceed with the update?

I am getting a notification to install a critical update in my Lumia 620.

But when I am installing the update, the gear icon keeps on rotating.. It is not updating my device. Finally i had to downgrade it to previous version using NSU for Retail. Any recommendations ? How to proceed with the update. I am from India.

Via nsu for retail it would update your phone to latest firmware but not latest software. After flashing is via nsu you need to check for updates to download denim(critical update).make sure to have a good Wi-Fi connection(major reason for errors) and 80% of battery.
