not showing 3g.even after enabling mobile data.

here in my place, all most all lumia phones are not showing 3g on their notification bar even after enabling mobile data though in other mobiles (android) 3g network is full.this is so disappointiong but still nobody knows why this happens. now I want to buy a lumia 730 but now after knowing this got confused.plz anybody help....plz plz..is there any way to rectify it on our own..I am living in the city Talcher, dist- Angul , state- odisha, cntry- india and 3g network provider here is Reliance and bsnl

Lumia connects to 3g only if the signal strength is high .... otherwise it stays on 2g.
Unlike android you cant lock lumia to 3g only (in future such an option might come with updates).

the reason for this is if the 3g signal strength is low and you still want 3g it will drain the battery ....
so its an automatic setup by lumia to connect to 3g only when the 3g signal reception is full.
