Why has my Twitter app tile grayed out?

Problem with the Twitter app

Today I encountered a problem with the Twitter app. I was using the app as normal but when I exited the app (holding the back key and press exit) the app tile greyed out and didn't respond to tapping/holding. I had to uninstall the app and reinstall it, did solve the problem.

Another problem is that after installing the app for one week or so it stops showing in-tweet images, really annoying.

Any idea how I can prevent this from happening again? Or if someone can give me the cause as why this happen?

PS: I use a Lumia 920 with denim installed.

I've only ever seen this happen when you're restoring your phone and the app isn't installed yet. Glad to see that uninstalling and reinstalling helped this - I can only imagine this is a bug with the twitter app itself.

This has happened to me on a few occasions as well. Twice I've had to reinstall the app but just this morning it stopped being grayed out from yesterday evening.
