After I update my Lumia 1020 to Denim the battery started to drain too fast and sometimes battery percentage gives me a wrong details, have you noticed that in yours?

Not really. Did you already do a soft reset.
Sometimes glitches happen during an update. If the soft reset does not solve it I would recommend a factory reset.

Even i have the same problem. After the update to Denim my phones battery just drains. all background apps are off, location of and its on 2G. i did do a soft reset and cannot do a hard reset. Can you suggest me any other methods to prevent this situation?

Not really or you have to see a app which uses a lot of battery in battery saver.
Or maybe your battery is bad and you have to change the battery.
