My surface pro was just stolen in the bahamas can i track it?

since it has a GPS also i thought why cant it be located.

It is very nice that you want to help people but you do not need to answer every question. And if you are not sure about the answer then at least tell that this works for phones and but that you are not sure if this works for "computers".
 
Give therawk92 a break! He was giving a suggestion on something the OP could try... better than not trying anything. Location might be able to be tracked without gps through wi-fi.

OP, good luck. Maybe file a report with the local police. I know my brother had his laptop stolen and filed a report. Turned out a few months later they found the guy, he stole a lot of electronics, and police returned the laptop to my brother.
