Why isn't my Cortana speaking (I have a new Lumia 635 (ATT Go Phone)no phone service)?

Cortana is not speaking--I have a new Lumia 635 (ATT Go Phone)no phone service

I purchased the Lumia 635 just to use as a GPS w/spoken turn by turn directions--For the 1st 2 days it would answer any question perfectly; I was amazed. On the 3rd day when asked any question, all cortana would say is "I'm sorry, I'm not connected right now, try back in a little while" or "I can't connect at the moment, try again in a little bit". In the settings, it says that it is connected to wifi. HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It could be more of a temporary glitch. Try again after a few hours/days.

my phone is doing the same, has been for a week or so now but I put the win10 preview on it, it sometimes answers and other times can't, figured it was just a bug with upgrade, have come across quite a few since putting it on my 635, is working for most part just fine besides that my main issue right now though is it isn't showing my caller id(restricted) on outgoing calls so its a good thing I don't make to many calls. XD
