How to disable text speech in lumia 535?

I am having a hard time using my newly purchased lumia 535. Text speech has been enabled and now i cannot turn it off, eve if i follow the "hold the volume up then press start". Please reply ASAP.

I just double checked on my 535.
Holding V+ then tapping the homescreen button does disable it.
You should be able to double tap in the yellow box selected to turn off also.
