Verizon 928 battery drain/power button issue?

Hey everyone!

Got a question and this time it's not for me.

My mother has a Verizon 928 and she is having some serious battery drain issues all of a sudden after her Denim update. Also, the power button works only 5% of the time.

She's not that technological handy so I did my routine digging around in her settings to see what I could dig up.

It looks like Battery Saver is showing that "Phone"s usage is pegged at 100%. That floored me.

That's really all that I can see that's wrong.

I can't do a soft reset as the power button does not function.

Does any of this sound familiar to anyone?

I would try backing up everything and then doing a restore with the recovery tool. It's odd that its usage is so high. Restoring may clear any usage issues. If the power button is a hardware problem, like the button is physically broken, i don't know what to suggest. On Dev Preview, the resume screen when waking the phone was common for the 928 and alot of other models, but Denim should have fixed that.
