Windows Central Question

I owned a Lumia 930 some months ago, but I felt the screen got blurry when scrolling text on the display. It was a distraction for me and I decided to sell it.

Right now there is a crazy offer on L930 here (50% off) and I am once again tempted, but I can also get a 830 for the same price as the 640 will Retail for.

Question is, will the 830 have that same blurry screen With text as the 930?

I see. It is really a shame, because I really enjoyed the 930 in other respects. With static images the screen was razor-sharp and clear, but reading articles on the web and scrolling almost gave me a head-ache.

Unfortunately, no stores nearby display either phone so no luck there.

No, I compared to other 1080p phones that were not AMOLED and the were a lot sharper.

Really annoying if this is normal, otherwise the 930 ticks "all boxes".

My general impression between my sister's AMOLED 925 and my personal LCD 920 is that the LCD blurs less than AMOLEDs, although I'm sure it varies. the 920 was supposed to have a more responsive display/high refresh rate than others or something.

yes, true 60hz if I remember correctly. I kinda thought that was the standard later on, apparently not.
This is common to AMOLED screens

L830 is IPS (thank God :winktongue: )

I used to love the AMOLEDness of my long gone L800, but that somehow worked with that tiny screen, now I can't stand the oversaturated colours and fuzzy edges on bigger screens.. Weird I know
