When I redeemed my Microsoft Gift Card, why does my balance still show $0?

Why I redeemed Microsoft Gift Card, but my balance is still 0$.

Hi all.

I bought Microsoft Gift Card in Windows Store and send it to myself. I got 25-digit code in the letter and press redeem. Then card has been redeemed, but my balance is still 0$ and I can't purchase any application in the store. What I do wrong?

It sounds like you redeemed it via browser or email?

On your phone go to Settings > email + accounts > hold down on the Microsoft Account name > tap "sync" from the popup menu
