How do I delete messenger from my phone?

My son created messenger on my phone but with his codes. How do I delete it ?

From start screen swipe to left and in the app list go to "messenger" icon and hold it. A pull down menu will appear and there is an option for uninstall.

If you're talking about the "messenger" facebook app, do what Harrie-S said. If your talking about the Messaging app, you can't delete it.

Or you can log out and back in as yourself through facebook messenger settings.

Or did he fill your SMS (text) Messaging with short codes?
