Normal CPU Tempatures

The CPU Temp of my laptop and desktop are far from each other.

when getting my desktop out of sleep it's 9 degrees celcius. When under pressure max 30 degrees.

when getting my laptop out of sleep it's 20 degrees celcius. when under pressure 85 degrees.

Are these normal tempatures?

Re: Normal CPU Tempatures

No. That laptop is getting too hot and not cooling enough.

I know because of the close fit inside the case, heat dissipation is more difficult with a laptop, but 85*c (185*F) just sound like it's the danger zone for your CPU.

Here is some info for comparison: CPU Temperature - What are the Maximum and Normal CPU Temps?

You might want to have that laptop looked at.

<edit> Are you overclocked? If yes, you need to back that down...

I think I check if there is any cool paste left on the cores.+ checking the fan.

Overcloaking: Yes It cloaks itself over. But just when necessary. (max 200 MHz)
