Windows Central Question

This week two local stores are selling the 930 and 830 very cheaply. I am looking to upgrade to larger screen and better camera. I tried a 930 a while ago and I felt the screen got really blurred when scrolling text. Will the 830 be better that the AMOLED in that respect?

Also, are the cameras about the same, or is it plain stupid not to get the 930 at the current price?

930 is 50% off and the 830 is 10% cheaper.

Not sure from which device you are coming but the 930 is a real upgrade for the 920 and the 830 is more a kind of side upgrade.

The camera on the 930 is better but then again with the 830 you also can make very good pictures.

The 930 can make 4K video's but that is more a "gimmick" then a very useful feature. ( after 50-60 min of 4K video all your internal memory is full)

If you want to use "Hey Cortana" you need to get the 930.

If you want glance and SD card support you need the 830.

I have the 930 and do not really notice the blur.

Battery wise it looks like the 830 is the winner.

Hope this helped to choose.

Well, let's see:
Why you should buy the 930:
-Better processor and more RAM.
-Higher resolution.
-Better camera which supports 4K
-Hey Cortana feature

Why you should buy the 830:
-Very good camera
-SD card support
-Glance
-Good performance despite having a weaker processor (games may lag a little though...)

It clearly depends on what you want. Do you really, really, REALLY need Glance and SD card support? If yes, get the 830. If not, then the 930 is perfect choice for you (keep in mind that the 930 has 32GB of storage, while the 830 has 16GB).
