Why is my Call + SMS block feature working?

Call + SMS block feature not working

I used call + SMS block feature for blocking unwanted SMS. But recently it's not working. I need that feature to recieve some important SMS too. Whenever in settings I click on it, it says "Something went wrong" and closes. What should I do?

Have you tried restarting or performing a soft reset on your phone?

Restart: simple power down and power up

Soft Reset: press and hold volume down and power button together until your phone restarts

Sorry, bad news. Normally when this happens, a hard reset or full restore is needed. Each time its happened to me, that has been the only solution.

Try this:
1. Set the date on your phone to sometime in year 2050.
2. Click on Call+SMS block settings and uninstall.
3. Soft Reset your phone as told be gpobernardo
4. Download the setting again from store.
