Microsoft apps on iOS?

I have just tried MSN apps in IOS, I was surprised to find that they are better than WP apps. Why Microsoft keep giving people reasons to abound WP.

MS' current strategy of making their apps available and good on other platforms seems like a good idea...on paper. The problem with it, in my view, is that it removes some incentives for buying MS hardware. Why buy a WP device if I can get a MS experience that's as good(or better) on an iPhone or Android phone? There's also the benefit of not having to worry about whether or not the latest "hot" app or game is available for use.
