Cortana news + IE. Two questions

1. When I open some news in Cortana (directed to IE) on some websites (abs news)video starts playing by itself. Hate that. Is there anyway to stop it?

2. Sometimes the Cortana tile doesn't update for days, its tile constantly shows one news-headline. And when I open Cortana it shows as that same article was added few minutes ago. After spinning for 10+ hours one showed it was added 17 seconds ago. Weird. Before you say -Soft reset doesn't fix this, and data/wifi is always on. Why does this happen?

1. No. That's the way the site is coded to behave. You could look at the link closer and see if it says "video" before tapping it.

2. IDK. Sometimes there are Regional (and I mean smaller than country regions) hold ups on Microsoft servers that keep some data from flowing... But as a recurring problem? All I can suggest is inspecting Cortana's Interests. Maybe toggle some off and see how it moves after. It may be one particular segment causing the jam.
