Why cant I have the lumia camera 5.0 launch on my 1520?

It shows me an error every time I try to open the app that I need to update my phone(1520) while on the other hand in extras+info it shows that my phone is on Lumia Denim!! and when I try to update it says am up to date!!

Did you update via preview?If yes flash back official denim via the lumia recovery tool.If not then do a hard reset and reinstall the app

Please check below link if Denim is already released for your device.

If not you have to wait till it is released. If Denim is already released and you use preview for developer go to this app and unmark the box and try updating again

1.install lumia recovery tool
2 open it and connect your phone to pc
3 Click install it will download and install the latest version

NOte:do not disconnect the phone or the net

First a few remarks.
To use Lumia camera 5 you need the DENIM update.
If you installed preview for developer and the box in the app is marked it may "block" the "check for updates" for DENIM.
Now there are also (but fewer) reports that you need to mark the PFD box.
If you have pfd then the info in Extras+info can be the reason it show DENIM but you only have CYAN. (and enable or disable the pfd shows different results)
What is the test in Extras+INFO under Mobile operator xxx-yy (just that I can double check)
What is the OS and firmware version you have.
Now it also happened that even in the MS link DENIM was released that phone could not find and update. (happened for the CV-HK for the 1520 and for the 630 CV-UK)
If the update is releases but your phone does not "find" it you could use the Lumia (or Windows) Software Recovery Tool. First to check if the DENIM is on the "server" and if so you could install it.

what you could try.
Double check if date and time is correct for your location.
Sync you MS account.
Delete temporary files with Storage Sense.
Do a Soft reset.
Disable the box in pfd and check for updates.
Enable the box in pfd and check for updates.

So please try above and report the result.

First go to

If this is for example 000-GE then you have a country variant GE which is Germany
Then go to this link
Software update for Lumia with Windows Phone 8 - Microsoft - Global
Germant is Europe so go to Europe.
Then to Germany
And you will see 2 1520

my product code is 059T2J6 , and i have recovered my phone using the recovery tool but the problem is that it turned me back to lumia black!! and not cyan at least and when i check for updates it says my phone is up to date. plz help

I believe you have a Demo or a Developer or a stolen prototype.... Not a normal commercially available phone. The ROM you were given by LSRT seems to be an inhouse ROM for prerelease testing??? This type ROM is not easily classified on layman's forums but always comes before Global release ROMs - such as the Mobile Operator 000-22 I have in my 1520.3 which is a Generic Region ROM for any/all Latin America. I believe your unit has been reset to pre- release conditions for the RM-937 model...

You will have to take a trip through XDA and use the Nokia Care Suite method for cross flashing an appropriate and viable ROM if the model will not now take OTA beyond Lumia Black...
