Why won't my Nokia Lumia 530 load pictures on messaging?

My Nokia Lumia 530, every time I get sent a picture or attached file, it says "media content in this message". But when I click on it, it never loads it and I have good storage but I don't know what the problem could be.

check your data connection settings in "Mobile+sim" in settings menu

Who is your carrier? Sounds like you need corrected mms apn

Do a web search for "<carrier name> MMS settings" and save the page or copy the values.

On your phone got to Settings > cellular + SIM > SIM settings > edit MMS APN > make sure the values match the ones from your search.

Also. MMS will only send/receive on cellular data, not WiFi.
