Why am I getting the display of two wheels after'critical update'?

Just getting displayed the two wheels after'critical update'

Device downloaded update and prepared installing, so I left i there for approx 4 hours.
W looked at it again there was the two Wheels. Has been so for Three hours more now.
Tried vol-&Power buttons without success. Battery out/in With same result.
A bleak bar With a white point to the left below the Wheels.

Asimple solution to this ?

Keep it on charge.Restart phone and try.If all fails,hard reset and update via LSRT

Soft Rest failed? Did you hold those Vol- and Power buttons for at least 15 seconds?

Does your phone have a removable battery?

If yes, pull the battery (and I never recommend battery pulls except as a last resort). This would likely cause data loss and a need to reflash.

You are going to lose data if you can't restart the update. If all else fails try the LSRT found here: FAQ - How can I recover/reset/restore my phone software? - Microsoft - USA Use the "phone will not boot or respond" option.

If you can get the phone to power down that would be best. Hold Volume Down then tap Power. Keep a hold on Vol- and the phone will show an exclamation mark, let go of the Volume button.


Your phone will be in a "Ready to Flash" state. Try the LSRT.
