One person in MMS group text is showing up blank, how can I fix this?

One person in MMS group text is showing up blank

I sent a text to 10 people. There is one person in the group who's texts show up blank on my Windows Phone. It simply has their name and the time. (The text alert says "media content in this message".) All other parties can read all of the text messages, so it looks like I am the only one with the problem.

If this person texts me directly (SMS), then I can read their messages fine.

Is there any way to fix this?

Can you receive group text messages on your phone?

I think MMS might not be configured correctly, and if it is, you may just need something as simple as a restart.

This is an entirely common issue, it seems. This happens to me with 1 friend whose image txts in Group txt threads come through blank. If he sends to me directly, the image comes through properly.

The answer is found in the WindowsCentral forums (though the search engine on the WC phone app did NOT find this thread):
