I am having an issue with both drop down menus and pop ups. Can you help?

Neither will stay open long enough to click on them. I am using Windows 8. I have tried opening different programs to see if it is only Outlook, but Excel and Word are giving me the same problem. It happens when I right click, or when I double click an attachment. It even happens when I try to open an email.

I'm having the same issue. Pull down/drop down menus in IE or Chrome or any software just open and close really quickly. I've went through most of the suggestions on the web, but nothing has helped. I didn't have this issue prior to the windows 10 update. I have a touchpad on an HP Envy dv6.

I found the solution to this issue. Go to your devices and look for the Generic Monitor. Disable this driver and see if this resolves the issue. It did for me.
