Why did Dot View app uninstall and why can't I find it in the App Store?

I rec'd a msg that the ap would uninstall and had the option to pay for the app. I've had the WINDOWS 8 HTC phone for 6 months. The app was free all this time so I allowed it to uninstall thinking I would just download the free version again.

However, I cannot find any version of the Dot View app in the store. What's up with that? Surely they don't want me to get an iPhone.
