Best Miracast receiver for Windows Phone

Hi everyone,

I am looking to find a good, reliable Miracast receiver that plays nice with Project My Screen on Windows Phone.

Any suggestions?

I my experience the words Miracast and Reliable don't go together, not in WP, Android or IOS!!

DLNA works far better :smile:

Windows Phone is pretty limited in what it's capable of over DLNA though. Rafael Rivera has a pretty good set of data about lagginess of certain Miracast dongles... though he does test specifically with a Windows PC and not Windows Phone:

From that, the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter is best... though you do need a Windows 8 app to configure that one or update its firmware.


He also hasn't tested the Roku 3 or Roku Streaming Stick, which both support Miracast as well. My Streaming Stick has worked pretty decently myself, but I've never tested latency specifically.
