How can I schedule a recurring event in the Nokia Lumia 920 calendar?

[Windows Central Question]

Trying to schedule a class for Thursday nights, 6-8 pm, Apr 23 - May 28.
start time: 5pm
end time: 8pm
start date: TH Apr 23 2015
end date: TH May 28 2015
occurs: every Thursday
status: busy

I receive the message "The duration of the event must be shorter than how frequently it occurs." This is driving me CRAZY!

Welcome to Windows Central.

It seems that recurring events that have an end date or ends after a certain number of times can't be created from the Windows Phone 8.1 Calendar App. You need to login to your calendar.live.com account in a PC browser (or the equivalent) and create the recurring event there - this has been how I created recurring events ever since WP8 (this was possible in WM5, 6, 6.5.3).

And, yes, this has bugged me both in my L535 and my L1020.
