Can I get some help with a problem I have having after downgrading my Lumia 820 from WP10 to WP8.1?

Problem faced after downgrading Lumia 820 from WP10 to WP8.1

I downgraded my Lumia 820 by following tutorial mentioned here on WindowsCentral.
The downgrade was successful to Lumia Cyan.
I logged in using my Hotmail EmailID which i have been using since I bought my phone.
The problem I am facing is in the Calendar sync.

In email and accounts > Microsoft Account (My hotmail ID)
Its showing only email option in content to sync.
Neither contacts nor Calendar.

My work schedule requires me to access Calendar App every hour, and this created nightmare for me.
I tried reseting phone but its still not showing up the option.
The calendar app is blank with no events, while online on hotmail.com i can see calendar entires perfect.

Please help me out.

I was just checking my calendar app and I see that on settings you can select what you want to sync, what do you see? outlook should be there.

yes, Its showing outlook and other calendars in settings.
but the app does not show any events
