how to delete other files on sd card?

i have some apps installed on my sd card. after backing up datas from hard reset, some of the apps on my sd card reinstalled on phone memory, and some others are gone. when i check storage sense the part 'apps and games' shows 0 byte while 'others' shows 2gb.
how to wipe them off? is there any other way beside formatting the sd card?

Use STORAGE SENSE >> temporary files >> DELETE ...
it'll cleanup other, you may have to DELETE more than once. The 2GB in other is your old apps, without pointers from the OS (trash)

BTW - other contains uncategorized documents you may have downloaded to sdcard.

the temporary files shows 0 byte. even after tap delete, others still shows 2gb

That's your old app data, can only be removed by plugging in your phone to PC, show hidden and protected files and folder, it will show up and you can delete them. Or if you don't mind just format your SD card.
