Can't install windows phone 10 preview on my Nokia lumia 1020

When ever i try to install it the phone reboots and does the job and when it comes to migrating data the screen goes black. I did hard reset (holding vol. down and lock for 20 secs) and the system is installed but can't open settings photos and other basic apps. Tryed both fast and slow install. Any idea how to fix the problem and do a clear installation? And what could be the cause of this unusuall problem?

The screen goes blank after the phone reboots, because it is preparing the phone for the restore process, due to the large amount of data that needs to be restored.

You have to leave it there until the process is completed.
