Apps missing after hard-reset on Windows 10 TP for Phones

There are no "Settings", "Device Hub", and other life-needed apps after the hard-reset of my phone running Windows 10 TP. What should I do?

If they are "life needed" then:-

- Restore back to 8.1 and never update to W10
- End life

Which handset do you have? What region are you located in?

I was using a Lumia 620 (Indian variant).
I tried reverting to 8.1 using Microsoft's recovery tool. It didn't work. Tried using NSU. My device got bricked.
I had to take it to Nokia care. They said it was a hardware issue. I then got it fixed for Rs. 1800 ($30 approx.).
